Have a go at driving a loco! There was a time when every school child dreamed of being a train driver. Did you play with your train set as a kid and fancy taking the controls of a real steam or diesel locomotive now you’re all grown up?
The Wells & Walsingham Light Railway Driver Experience is your chance to get up close and personal with a genuine Garratt steam locomotive or our replica Wisbech Tram. This half-day immersive session includes steam-raising, light engine full rake and a fish & chips lunch, and the opportunity to actually take the controls and drive around the station!
